If you’ve struggled to get fruit from peach trees in the past, the Tropic Snow Peach Tree is your answer. Specifically bred to thrive in the warm winters of the Inland Empire, this tree is a “set it and forget it” superstar for local gardens. Imagine biting into a peach that tastes like pure honey. The Tropic Snow features creamy white flesh that is incredibly sweet with almost no tartness.

This is one of the most resilient peach varieties in our area and fairly easy to maintain. Like most fruit trees in Riverside, it needs a “deep drink” rather than a light sprinkle. During the summer, a deep soak 2-3 times a week will keep the fruit juicy and the leaves lush. It grows to a manageable 15-20 feet tall and wide. It can create a beautiful, rounded canopy that provides excellent shade. Because the Tropic Snow Peach requires very little “winter chill”, it is almost guaranteed to produce heavy crop of fruit every single year, even after our warmest winters.

The Tropic Snow Peach tree is also one of our qualifying trees for the Riverside Shade Tree Program.
